Ikea turned side tables and lamps – the kind of furniture that’s used frequently – into wireless chargers.
The charging pads are designed to be used anywhere in the home, whether it’s on a windowsill in the living room, on a drawer in the bedroom, or on the kitchen worktop. They make mobile charging easy and convenient and they can charge one or several smartphones at once.

Designer David Wahl explains his thinking behind the charging pads: “I wanted them to blend in easily in the home, but it’s equally important that the pads are easy to use. The result is a charging pad with a simple yet interesting design, that can be used in many places across the home.”
Besides the charging pads and wireless chargers, the collection also features Jyssen, a wireless charger that you can build into furniture yourself.
