Chipperfield for Driade

Entirely designed by David Chipperfield, the new Driade showroom in Milan is the first joint project by the company and its new art director.

The new Driade showroom is in the heart of Milan and it has an area of approximately 500 square metres spread across three floors, along with an outdoor terrace.
The bright, open space allows interplay between the products as they appear in an alternating sequence of iconic classics and the latest additions to the line. The precise and delightfully harmonious architecture forms a marvellous backdrop for the collection, while the products on display are carefully selected to highlight the breadth and versatility of the range.
It is more than just a shop, it is a genuine exhibition gallery and the first exhibition “Early Years 1968–1982”, curated by Marco Romanelli, is a presentation of Driade’s first years.
