Pleats Please Issey Miyake

A pop up shop imagined by Keisuke Fujiwara celebrates the collection born from the collaboration between Pleats Please Issey Miyake and the graphic designer Kazumasa Nagai.

Pleats Please Issey Miyake
New products for brand Pleats Please Issey Miyake collaboration with Japanese graphic designer Kazumasa Nagai were launched.
Each item is based on motif of 5 animals of the poster “Life” which was painted by Nagai in 1993.

To celebrate and promote the release, one-week pop up shop was designed. What the real design should be is shown from these collaborated designs that does not mean just a pattern and not to be shift in all ages. Rectangular objects cut out of animals form were put in the centre of the shop.

And the clipped space has function as a hanger rack and shelves to display furniture. In terms of spatial design, Keisuke Fujiwara focused on placing the animals representing lively.
