Bethan Gray at Harrods

For this year London Design Festival, Bethan Gray teamed up with Harrods to open a dedicated pop-up shop featuring exclusive designs from her  design studio.

Occupying a 32 square meters space in Harrods third floor furniture department, the pop-up shop designed by Bethan Gray features a series of new products, alongside some of the studio’s most popular pieces.
The new Carve furniture collection, adapted from the existing G&T Carve collection of occasional tables, takes centre stage. Also exclusive to Harrods is a range of Stud mirrors. Inspired by the studwork found on traditional Asian and Arabic doors, these feature a leather strip around the rim onto which brass or nickel studs have been carefully applied by hand.

Bethan Gray’s pop-up at Harrods also includes a plain back version of the new Ella sofa, a collaboration between Bethan Gray and British furniture manufacturer WorkHouse. Designed for both public and private spaces, the curvaceous design cleverly bridges the gap between classic lines and modern styling.
In addition to Ella, the recently launched tabletop accessories collection, Alice, is also on show. Comprising of a black and white chopping board in a herringbone and stripy design, cheese board and clear glass cheese dome, the Alice collection takes its design inspiration from historical buildings across Europe, and uses black and white marble to achieve a monochrome contrast.
