Taiwan Design
Taiwan is known for many craftsmen and designers who specialize in bamboo, rattan, ceramics, glass, lacquer and woodcrafts.
Taiwanese products have a strong presence of hand-made texture and reflect local culture that fits contemporary lifestyles. With an oriental heritage and influence of Europe, China, Japan and USA, Taiwan developed into a “hybrid” island. From traditional oriental culture, Taiwan’s creativity is recognized as an important actor by design world.
