The Fox’s Den

The Fox's Den, by French creative duo Zim&Zou, is a 3D “home” of a humanised fox made of paper and leather, in the window of Hermès in Barcelona.

The Fox’s Den is an artist window display project taking place in the Hermès store of Paseo de Gracià in Barcelona.
It tells the story of a fox, all made of leather offcuts from Hermès’ workshops, who moved into the window with his personal furnitures and objects such as frames of him and his family, his readings, favorite wine, etc…

The “den” is here represented as a human apartment in order to personify the fox, highlighting his character and showing his refined and intelligent side. All the objects (besides Hermès products of course) are handmade with orange colored papers, and sometimes enhanced with leather. The production of the whole installation took about a month and a half, using 68 glue tubes and 144 large sheets of paper (mainly 50x70 cm).
