Domus 974 on newsstands

In the November issue, Domus visits Sizas' houses in Oporto, the project by Gigon and Guyer in Zurich and looks at Vincent Van Duysen’s house in Warengem; meets Mario Bellini and unearths a 1974 Pier Paolo Pasolini documentary on the Italian landscape.

Issue 974 of Domus visits Zurich to inspect Gigon and Guyer’s refurbishment of the former Löwenbräu brewery and Porto to see four Álvaro Siza houses on Avenida Boavista.

It looks at Vincent Van Duysen’s house in Warengem and Oberti and Stocchi’s new belvedere on the River Adda, and Mario Bellini leads readers through his architectural and design process.

Domus checks out MART with Cristiana Collu and Baldeweg analyses Siza’s work through the eyes of a sculptor, his initial calling. In the November issue, Stephen Bates and Bruno Krucker outline their course at the Technische Universität in Munich and Alexis Georgacopulos illustrates the new one at ECAL.
