Domus Urban Futures at Salone 2011

In the Urban Futures Space at Opificio 31, Via Tortona 31, Domus presents events and interviews with the protagonists of the 2011 International Furniture Fair.

Salone-2011

For its debut at the Salone 2011, the new Domus will occupy a custom-made space in Via Tortona 31–Domus Urban Futures–that will serve as both a broadcasting station and a hub of debate and discourse. With a resident camera crew, Domus will film and photograph the proposals and innovations from the design world presented both at the fair and throughout the city. A special video software interface—realized by dotdotdot studio—will allow images to be projected on a 28 meter-long wall, creating a continuum of composite and constantly updated images, available in near-real time. Every day, Domus Urban Futures will also host leading designers, architects and critics to discuss the changes taking place at Domus, as well as future scenarios and relevant issues for the design world.
