In “Go Home: Visiting Neighbours” held in Shijia Hutong Museum in Beijing, various touchable old doors with children’s painting are on display in a courtyard to narrate a story of doors that keep memories of the daily life in a traditional Siheyuan with its cultural identity.

In Rome, the beautiful exhibition “Álvaro Siza in Italia. Grand Tour 1976-2016” dedicated to Siza shows the lengthy and deeply felt relationship between this Portuguese maestro and Italy, especially his love for Naples and Venice.

For the return to Italy of the great German artist Reinhard Mucha, almost 30 years on from his first exhibition in Naples, Lia Rumma Gallery offers a perfect place, where the tectonic strength of Mucha’s work fills the three floors of the building, lending a permanent, museum-like aspect to the entire installation.

In the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich, new production processes, new materials and new ways of using colour are all on display at the important Werner Aisslinger retrospective, through which this well-known German designer tells us how the key elements in his work are authentic research and production sustainability.
