The February 2014 issue of Domus India revisits artist Prabhakar Barwe’s journey, and the narrative form of graphic story-telling via This Side, That Side, while also closely observing craft and furniture design.
We look at a house of ‘liquid stone’ by Mumbai-based SPASM Design Architects, where the building’s subconscious and the narrative constructed around it are critically evaluated to tell the story of a typology. Lastly, the building for Zanav Home by Bengaluru-based Mathew & Ghosh Architects, and their ‘process’ through their own essay on the dilemmas of belonging, interestingly outlines many expected suspects but within very personal sets of references, through doubts and ponderings.
