Sottsass’s first project on show in Paris
Designer, architect and theorist, as he likes to descrive himself, Ettore Sottsass features in a small exhibition at the Galerie Italienne in Paris with one of his first projects. It is an apartment designed in 1953 for Doctor Gaito that has remained intact for the last fifty years and rebuilt piece by piece in the Paris gallery.
The exhibition has been conceived and realised by founders of the gallery, Alessandro and Anna Pron, an art dealer couple from Turin who in their gallery show one off pieces or limited editions from the best of Italian design. E.S.
