Art black box
Cardi Black Box opens in Milan, a new outpost dedicated to contemporary art.
Seductive still life pictures that recall the Flemish and Dutch masters of the seventeenth century, portraits, topographic panoramas or universal representations of the landscape. Photographs, paintings and hangings by Iranian artist Shirana Shahbazi are the protagonists in the inaugural exhibition at Cardi Black Box, the new Milan gallery founded by Nicolò Cardi that opens its doors to the public on February 26. “ A space for thinking, for the imagination, for reflection. It is a black box because it is tangible yet at the same time, fleeting”, writes artistic director Sarah Cosulich Cannarutto. Key words?
