Container of experiences

With four annual residencies, Milan-based association O’ offers a space for exchange and experimentation for young artists from around the world.

Two artists (Liz Glynn and Beatrice Minda) and a curator (Gaia Pasi) are at the centre of the latest residential programme (all-female), O’A.I.R. organised by Milan-based cultural association O’ that from March 12 to 31, will be showing the results of their work. In the intentions of its founders, Sara Serighelli e Angelo Colombo, O’ is a “container of experiences”, a place where young talents (artists and theorists) have a chance to work, collaborate and confront one another, also at an international level thanks to the exchange set up with the Austrian residence for artists, Hotel Pupik.
American Liz Glynn has developed her thoughts on the Roman Empire, while Beatrice Minda (who lives and works in Berlin) produces large photographs that capture the memory of space, in work that she describes as “in the field of tension between present and past, between distance and intimacy”.
