MasterPeace. Art auction for Emergency
The top Italian art galleries have come together and selected the works of some of the most important emerging Italian and foreign artists: Grazia Toderi, Thomas Struth, Ryan Mendoza, Elliott Puckette, Loris Cecchini, Luigi Ontani and Claudio Marini. Two good reasons to attend the auction to be held in the Milan branch of Sotheby’s. There is a third, fundamental incentive.
The proceeds will go to support Emergency, the Italian humanitarian association led by Gino and Teresa Strada. The funds will be used to construct an emergency operating theatre in the hospital of Al Fashir, the capital of northern Darfur, Sudan. The auction will be preceded by a two-day exhibition at Sotheby’s on Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 September, open 10am-1pm and 2-6pm. E.S.
