Ten videos, one for each floor of the “Renaissance Skyscraper”, tell what’s behind a Fornasetti piece of furniture, an accessory or a porcelain object.

In the world exist secret and magical places that hold wonderful surprises inside. Places that are not open to everyone and not everyone would be able to see in all their simple but strong beauty.

One of these places is the Fornasetti Atelier, founded by Piero Fornasetti in Milano at the beginning of the 50s and full of ideas, decors and objects that come to life everyday through the hands of skilled craftsmen. Here tradition, knowledge, quality and passion for one’s work, blend with sustainable production with an eye for human values.

For the first time Fornasetti “opens” its Atelier’s doors. A new permanent section of the website is now dedicated to the Atelier: here, you will find one of the most iconic decors created by Piero Fornasetti, the “Grattacielo Rinascimentale” (Renaissance Skyscraper). Each of the ten floors of the building shows through a video the different artisanal working phases of Fornasetti Atelier’s production, portraying all the qualities that make it unique.
