The goal is to make sense of the pictorial object through the front shot. The latter is identical from one image to another, flattens the depth preserving the essence of painting: color and shape.
Thus, if each image individually may seem trivial or anodyne, the set of images of the same type gains strength. As you scroll through the images, the cottage becomes a "graphical form" and ceases to exist as such, it stands motionless on the horizon with the texture of the sea as background.
