Domus 986 is on newsstands with the 2015 edition of the Europe’s top 100 schools of architecture and design. Domus web replies with a selection of the best 10 students’ projects published in 2014.

In December Domus and Domus Web focus on the school’s world: the magazine publishing the 2015 edition of the Europe’s top 100 schools of architecture and design, and the website proposing a selection of the best 10 students’ projects published this year.


Lesia Trubat, E-Traces: Lesia Trubat designed a technologic pointé shoes that allows ballet dancers to recreate their movements in digital pictures using a mobile application.

Tehila Guy, Anda: Tehila Guy’s final project in Bezalel Academy is an inflatable armchair inspired by repetitive pattern in terms of material, assembly methods, and aesthetics of the flat packed furniture.

Johnny Savage, Fallout: with Fallout Johnny Savage tells a story about the empty building  – built during the Ireland’s ‘Celtic Tiger’ economic boom – that stand like ruins in the modern Irish lansdcape.

Filming the Glass House: a group of students of the workshop Filming Architecture spent a day at Lina Bo Bardi's Glass House in São Paulo, producing a film directed by Gabriel Kogan and Pedro Kok.

Epo Bicycles: Bob Schiller’s graduation project Epo bicycle, inspired by the way cars are produced, revives the local industry and brings production back to the Netherlands.

Oldies but goldies: with her graduation project Oldies but Goldies, the young Italian designer Vittoria Casanova tries to answer the daily needs that occur when the body changes and ages.

Portable Ebola clinics: Texas A&M Master of Architecture’s students designed concepts for portable Ebola virus treatment clinics created like modules that can be dismantled stored at transportation hubs.

Mocho stool: Mocho, designed by João Timóteo and Helena Fernandes, is a reinterpretation of Portuguese stool that questions the material and the relationship with user.
