Aris Architects: Dots
Dots bookshelf has been designed by Aris Architects for Polarislife, and it has been conceived as a fitted vertical space which can be adapted to any environment.
The bookshelf is composed of a modular system with panels to which small wood cylinders are attached according to a regular pattern.

Such composition can be further customized with easily interchangeable boxes which render the space extremely flexible, and make it new and variable at any time. Without such boxes the wall takes on a new design thanks to its dotted geometrical pattern. The library has recently won the Red Dot Design Award 2014 in the category of Interior Design Elements and will be exhibited at the Red Dot Museum in Singapore from August 1, 2014.
